Suzette and Ryan Davenport, and their 2 beautiful boys, Spencer (11 years) and Jack (7 years) are currently without a home due to the devastating floods caused by Hurricane Harvey here in Houston. Their West Houston home started filling with water in the early morning hours of August 28 and got as high as 7 feet in a few days time. They made their escape from their flooding townhome complex by wading through waist deep water with 2 kids, 2 cats and a few plastic trash bags filled with a few essential items in tow. As of September 1, they still have around 5 feet of standing water in their home and it's draining at a snails pace due to the slow drain of water reservoirs, bayous and creeks surrounding their home. Suzette & Ryan did not carry flood insurance as their home had never even come close to flooding in the 8 years they've lived there. We're hoping to raise some much needed funds to help defer the great financial strain this catastrophic storm and it's aftermath have placed on this dear family who have always been so generous with their resources to those in need around them. They are truly loved by so many and we just want to help give something back to them in their time if need. Please donate whatever amount you're so inclined (even a tiny amount would be greatly appreciated) to help Suzette, Ryan and their boys with much needed clothing, furniture, appliances, kitchen supplies, home clean-up and rebuilding efforts so they can get back on their feet with as little pain as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for whatever you find in your heart to give. Please share on FB & IG as well!
Suzette's adoring sister,
