In Memory of Dave Lennox
Donation protected
Hello and welcome all.
As you know, Dave Lennox passed away on October 5, 2016 from complications arising from a sudden heart attack on September 22nd. Despite surgery, and 14 days of treatment in Lourdes Cardiac ICU, he was unable to make it back to us. Dave's Memorial is Sunday, November 20th, at the Camden County Boathouse. Visitation with family and friends is from 12:00pm - 3:00pm, and the Memorial Service begins at 3:30pm. All are invited, kids included.
Dave's wife, Michelle, and his daughter, Emerson (13) and son, Luke (10) are now caught up in grief and uncertainty, wondering what their lives will be like moving forward without him. Dave's family meant everything to him, and he to them.
According to his sister Kim, Dave was a creative force. He founded his own company (Cirring Interactive) with the best of friends. With Michelle, he created a loving family and provided a home for Emy and Luke where the the expression of love, and the nurturing of his children's talents, were the primary focus. A home where family and friends were always welcome, and fed to the fullest extent of his culinary skill (which was legendary). Dave was the guy who always showed up to lend a hand and give a hug. He exuded kindness and support, and was always ready with a kind word and hearty laugh.
Dave's wife, my friend Michelle, is one of the sweetest, most caring, and generous people I know. She tirelessly gives so much to her family, friends, and neighbors, including her Strawbridge School community. Her smile is always big and her laughter infectious. But now, she faces the long and difficult journey of recalibrating her life, and healing her family.
For many weeks, family, friends, and neighbors have been asking how they can help. So in keeping with the kind and generous way Dave lived his life, this GoFundMe campaign was created to help Michelle and the kids. Hopefully, the money gifted here can ease the financial burden of Dave's medical expenses, as well as help Michelle with future living expenses. It will also allow her a little more time at home with the kids to focus on healing their hearts.
I know Michelle is deeply touched by the extraordinary outpouring of help, the meals and care of the kids, especially. She appreciates and is grateful for every kind word and gesture. The purpose here is simply to raise funds with the hope of making this tragic time a little less difficult. While it will never ease the pain, it's one way we can try to alleviate additional stresses.
Michelle Lennox will have sole access to any money donated here. Please donate only as much as is comfortable for you.
Thank you for your caring and support, Alicia Starrett
