Higgins Family Benefit Fund

The Higgins Family of Duxbury, Massachusetts suffered an unimaginable tragedy on Tuesday, July 26, 2016.  Their beloved husband and father, David Higgins, died unexpectedly.  David leaves behind his beloved wife Monica of 24 years and his four children:  John Patrick (age 21), James Matthew (age 20), Siobhan Elizabeth (age 16) and Mary Katherine (age 10).  He was the sole provider and rock of stability to this all American family. 

David was no ordinary person.  If you were fortunate enough to know him, you knew this.   Whether you knew him as husband, father, uncle, colleague, coach, mentor or simply friend - his energy and enthusiaism for life was infectious.  His positve outlook was contagious.  He was always the first guy to lend a hand, offer support, start a game of whiffle ball, adopt that dog that needed a home and open his house to those in need.  He was an honorable and kind human being...one of the rare "good" guys. 

This page has been created by Monica's sister as a place for grieving family and friends to express words of comfort, share a story and make a donation to help this shellshocked family deal with uncertain financial times ahead due to this devastating loss.  David touched countless lives in his short years with us.  This is our opportunity to show the Higgins Family how much David was appreciated and how much he will be missed.
