Hi Everyone! 
So next week is the big week for me- I am going to attempt to cross off one of my bucket list items by competing in the Lake Placid Ironman.  
While I have had blood sweat and many times almost tears preparing for this race, nothing compares to the struggles and heartache brought on by cancer. 
Most of you know someone who has battled cancer and there are not words to describe the bravery that one endures when battling! 
My father in law, Ed was diagnosed with AML, a form of leukemia more than a year ago and the physical and emotional strength that he endures day to day is nothing short of amazing. 
Im sorry this isn't much notice but I would like to raise money to support Fox Chase Cancer center where Ed receives his chemo treatments.
I am going to try to show MY bravery next week as I attempt this physical and emotional challenge.
