Honouring Dave Boisjolie's Legacy

It is with profound sadness that we say goodbye to Dave Boisjolie, who passed away in a tragic car accident on August 13, 2022.

Dave was a bright light to all those who knew him. Passionate, driven, joyful, and fun. He was enamored with this world and all that was in it, whether forging countless friendships, tackling marathon races, exploring cultures beyond or unearthing fine wines.

Through adventures near and far, Dave was, first and foremost, a family man. He had endless dedication to the love of his life, Tannis, and their three beautiful children, Avyn (10), Estelle (7), and Hewitt (5).

One of Dave’s biggest desires was to set his children up for success as they grew up. Sharing his own love of learning, he encouraged them to work hard and to enjoy the process of doing so. Whether it was their French educations, taking on new sports or becoming LEGO Master Builders, personal development and growth were paramount. With this as a priority, Dave and Tannis saved diligently for the kids’ post-secondary education, to enable each of them to pursue any form of study they desired.

In fond memory of Dave, we would like to honour and support this legacy for his children. We have established an Education Trust for Avyn, Estelle, and Hewitt, facilitated through this page, to ensure their seamless transitions to university when the time comes. Your donations will be directed towards the children's RESPs, with any remaining set up in trust for their continued education. All donations received will be managed on their behalf by their mom.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage those who knew and loved Dave to contribute to this fund, which will have a lasting impact on this beautiful family’s future.
