I am currently an unpaid intern for the City of Everett social work team. Our team provides assistance to the unhoused, people with SUDs, and anyone in need in the community. My birthday wish this year is that I can also offer assistance to my hometown, which is currently in dire need of help. Last week, Northern Cebu was hit by a 6.9 magnitude earthquake that took the lives of at least 72 people, injured hundreds of people, and destroyed hundreds of homes. However, I am confident in the strong resilience of Cebuanos, and I invite everyone to participate in the healing process. All funds received will be sent to and distributed by Mars Pahid Jr. (Bogo City), Atty. Nathaniel Jore (Bogo City), Sir Aljun Postrero (Daanbantayan), and Jhay Ron (Bantayan, Cebu) who are willing to lend their time to help with the cause.
