Thank you for allowing us to present this fundraiser to you for our dear friend Dave Doyle.
Late at night on Sept 29, Dave’s truck was stolen from in front of the house where he was staying. Towed behind his truck was his trailer full of all of his tools along with all of the rest of his personal possessions.
Dave had packed up the truck and trailer that afternoon in preparation to travel back to Ohio to see his mother. Everything he owned had been packed up and ready for his trip. In one night, Dave lost all of his professional and personal belongings.
For those that know Dave, you know that he is a master craftsman. He has spent his life serving others and helping to restore and renovate their property. His truck and his tools were his lifeline to making a living. He had spent his adult life mastering his crafts and accumulating the necessary tools to do the job. It was all stolen.
Even more devastating than the material loss, was the fact that Dave had loaded up all of his personal mementos into his truck as well. He lost all of his favorite photos, special heirlooms given to him by his father before he had passed away and his only pictures of his beloved dog, Ella, that had died 2 months prior. Dave had also loaded up his luggage, and thus had lost even his clothes.
Dave is in great need of your help to lift him back up. He is an honest and hardworking man, but he is unable to work without his truck and his tools. So we are hoping to raise funds for a used work truck for him and for the purchase of new tools and trailer. Dave’s compassion and sacrifice is well known by his friends. He would be the first one to give a lending hand to anyone that is in need. Now, Dave finds himself in a desperate place in need of the help of others.
