In November 2019, my brother (brother-in-law) Dave experienced a very traumatic brain injury. Through his hospitalization he was in a coma for a month and has had multiple surgeries. On top of this, another surgery was conducted where the doctors then discovered Dave also now has cancer. My sister-in-law, Suzanne, has not been able to work since Dave’s injury and Dave’s business is no longer running. Dave was moved from the hospital in Sacramento to a rehabilitation center in Vallejo. Suzanne is now learning how to care for Dave from a team of physical, occupational, and speech, therapists. Dave needs an in home caregiver, as he needs 24/7 support. We are so blessed to still have him here today, but with that comes a long road to recovery. The financial hardship that comes with this is tremendous and truly anything helps. Thank you.
