Dearest SB Charter Friends, Family, Alumni, and Current Families,

After years of devoted service to help found and develop Santa Barbara Charter School into the thriving educational  community that it is today, Dave Weisman, SBCS Director of Operations, will retire at the end of this school year.  Dave, is our dearest friend, excellent mentor, best toilet plunger, and great motivator!

While we will miss seeing Dave’s smile while talking about fishing or basketball on the way to the office, he is ready to spend quality time with his family and fish in the open seas. 

We are putting this GoFundMe fundraiser together as a collective ‘thank you’ for all the years of service he has given to the SBCS community. While no dollar amount can fully show Dave how grateful we are and what a wonderfully positive impact SBCS has had in our children’s lives, and in our own, let’s send him off with this gift from all of us.
