Hurricane Harvey-Dave & Zola

Dear family and friends,

On Monday, my brother David, his lovely wife Zola and their two young sons were bravely rescued from their home in Texas. This was as a result of the (ongoing!) stormy wrath of Hurricane Harvey. They are now safe from life threatening rising floods by the selfless act of a true friend. Zola’s Mum Marian was also rescued by the Cajun Navy on the same day. For this I am eternally grateful to God. Friends and family are rallying around to help support them during this disruptive and challenging time.

This fundraising drive aims to support them in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Harvey. Funds will be utilized for the urgent needs of the family including:

Food
Accommodation
Transportation and
Basic clothing.

It is impossible to know how long they will be displaced from home as a result of the floods but this amount will go a long way.

Dave and Zola have blessed numerous lives with selfless acts over the years both within the US and abroad. These include being amazing parents to their sons and in leading the building of libraries thousands of miles away in rural communities in Malawi.

Numerous requests have been made by friends and family eager to help. This is an opportunity to bless and support this amazing family to meet their urgent need in a very practical way.
