If you are here, you have followed the inspirational fight put forth by Dave and his family through his battle with brain cancer. Sadly, Dave’s fight came to an end on Tuesday, June 11th, 2024, but we can take some comfort knowing he is now resting in peace.

There are challenges that remain, and the Yates family has expressed that in lieu of flowers, donations to help with final expenses would be appreciated.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19th at Our Lady of the Wayside from 4-8 pm.

The Funeral will be held on Thursday, June 20th at Our Lady of the Wayside, starting at 10:45 am. Visitation prior from 9:30-10:30 am.

At Dave’s request, please dress casually, wear your Fremd or team colors or gear for both the visitation and funeral.

 A Celebration of Life is being planned for June 29th. More details to follow. 

It has been just over a year since this amazing community rallied around the Yates family. While they are mourning the loss of their beloved husband and father, they remain humbled and appreciative of every single prayer, gesture, and act of kindness they have received.
