Our buddy and fishing brother has fallen on some of the best news and worst news at the same time. Life can be a real bitch like that for us. Through community and teamwork, our goals are within reach. PLEASE help make this journey that Dave is about to embark on as easy as possible. He needs us now more than ever. Those of you who do not know Dave personally would never ask for this, which is why he deserves the help.

Daves story- Dave is a kind, giving, compassionate and loving person. I CONSTANTLY witnessed Dave grab and embrace someone he just met that day and tell them he loves them. I think he is crazy, but this is Dave. If you know Dave, you know what I am talking about. He works his ass off 5 days a week at Freestate electric running their service fleet. On top of that, Dave works for his uncle's tree buisness on Saturdays/Sundays. Almost every weekend, after a full week of work, he goes out and works long days to provide for his wife and future child. Dave puts others before himself.

A few weeks ago, Dave received the best news of his life; he is going to be a father come September. For most people, this is a very stressful, exciting and unexpected event. The next 9 months of your life are spent planning how to overcome and adapt what you know in order to provide and set up a life for your child.

Recently, this wonderful news has been followed by the awful news. Dave has been diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma. Although Hodgekins lymphoma is a very treatable cancer, it is still cancer. With cancer comes struggles. Dave is not a weak man, in fact, he is incredibly strong-willed. No doubt, he will beat this. The goal here is to make things easier for Dave. We are asking for your help. If we can make ANYTHING easier for him, it will mean the world to him.

The plan-

Dave is about to endure 12 weeks of Chemotherapy. The plan is to raise enough money so that his weekends can be spent with his family and friends. In tough times, friends and family come second to none for healing. The goal is $3600. This will help free Dave up to relax, rest and recover. I have set the time for this to 10 days. I know this sounds crazy, BUT the sooner that we help Dave, the better it will be for his recovery.

I will personally deliver this to Dave and his wife and videotape Daves's reaction for everyone to see.
