We are reaching out for our brother Dave, who has been diagnosed with esophageal cancer.

This came on suddenly when he was admitted to hospital emergency over the Easter weekend, with breathing and heart problems.

While in hospital getting care for a collapsed lung, massive infection and pneumonia, the cancer was discovered.

The cancer was deemed advanced and inoperable at this time, and after many tests it was determined that chemotherapy and radiation therapy could be started as soon as he was clear of the infection.

Dave is an independent business consultant who has a long history in the technology and food and beverage industries.

His passion for cooking and a simple glass of wine can no longer be enjoyed as he is now forced to feed through a stomach tube due to the tumour.

Unfortunately this has taken a huge toll on Dave’s ability to enjoy life, work and earn an income, with bills piling up.

It is our deepest hope that continued medical therapies and his desire to overcome will face these challenges.
