It is with a heavy heart that we write this .. our step dad unfortunately died of a cardiac arrest while at work on Friday 12th January. His brain unfortunately was too severely damaged due to the lack of oxygen he incurred and wasn’t able to pull through
Unfortunately our mum isn’t entitled to any help towards his funeral & doesn’t have the money available to give him a proper send off. We would like to take the stress & worry off her & the rest of his family and would appreciate any help at all towards giving him the send off he deserves whilst also helping our mum with any financial difficulty she may face whilst she takes the time off to grieve for Dave.
For people who did not know Dave, he was the most kind hearted, thoughtful & funniest person you could meet. Through all his demons he showed true courage & turned his life around in ways I can’t even begin to explain. He brought so much joy & happiness to our mums life. Our mum hasn’t had the easiest of lives & he came along and gave her the love, support & strength that she so desperately needed. He put her faith back in men & forever protected her, she truly was his ‘baby girl’ as he would say
And for those of you who don’t know our mum, if you asked anyone who knows her, you will know that she is the most incredible, strong, fearless woman you could ever come across. She has been dealt one hell of a cruel hand throughout her life, yet still has has the purest, kindest heart & would give you her last pound to help you. She doesn’t expect hand outs off anybody, this is us, as her children, wanting to take the stress off our mum so she can grieve without worrying about anything else. That woman really is our queen, she’s one in a million and we would be forever grateful for any help possible wether that be financially or just being supportive
We thank you in advance for any help, we know Dave was a very loved man & will be missed by so many! We would also like to thank you for all your kind messages at this tough time, it really hasn’t gone unnoticed
