Update 12/6- Between multiple fundraising efforts we were able to raise what was needed for funeral costs and some extra for unexpected needs. We are so blessed to have so many friends, family and anonymous donors help out for the challenging time! Thank you all from the norm of our hearts!!

Hello my name is Chris. As we all know how expensive this time of year can be but if you have a moment and can spare anything please see below.

In the last 4 weeks, a pretty significant event has happened in my life. About 4 weeks ago my father was complaining of some pretty significant pain and was having trouble walking. Once my mother was able to get him into the hospital, this is where things truly to return for the worse. Over the next two weeks it was discovered two different forms of cancer in his body. One of the most significant was brain cancer that had metastasized throughout every hemisphere of his brain. The cancer had also metastasized to his spine causing a host of other issues within his body.

Some of you have might have seen on a post buy me this last Saturday morning he passed away. Mercifully, it was very quick. However another harsh reality of life is the business of death. At this time there are costs that go along with being able to have him cremated. My mother has never had very much in her life and this continues to be the current state of things. My parents never planned far enough ahead for anything that dealt with this part of life. I am hoping to raise somewhere around $1,500 but will take as much as people are willing to give. That $1,500 will allow for the remainder of the amount needed to have him cremated.
