Early on Oct. 9th, our dear friends, Dave & Nannette Hawk, had to urgently flee their home in Santa Rosa due to intense winds that brought fire swiftly through their neighborhood. They had only enough time to awaken their 4 boys and evacuate immediately. Within a short time their house, all of their belongings and personal items were in ashes. Their nearby family members' homes were also burned.
They were renting their house and do not have insurance and as a result what they fled their home with is all they have. Certain valuables have been lost forever, however this page has been set up to help them financially as they seek a new place to live, replace all of their belongings, and rebuild their lives over the coming weeks and months.
We are so grateful that their family is safe and secure and for the moment staying with friends in a nearby town.
