My cousin Dave Lui tested positive for Covid-19. Symptoms led to respiratory problems and subsequently he suffered a fatal heart attack in his home on April 3, 2020.
At the time of his death, Dave was on the phone with his older brother, Victor Lui, who drove over as fast as he could to administer CPR. Although he had a mask and gloves on and tested negative for Covid-19, he chose to quarantine himself from his wife and two young children (kindergarten and pre-school).
His parents have also tested positive for Covid-19, most likely passed on from Dave. My aunt is currently in the hospital for respiratory problems.
I've had so many people reach out to me asking what they can do and how they can help so I decided to start this page for Dave and his family. I'll be in communication with Dave's brother to figure out the best way to use this money.
In a time of social isolation, they need the support of community now more than ever. In addition to funds, we're asking for volunteers in New York to help bring food and essentials to the family and prayer.
