Hi, my name is Joe and I'm helping my friend Dave to be able to cover basic expenses after losing his leg to vascular issues. Due to the extended period of time, he had to spend in the hospital with his leg complications, he also lost his job.

Dave and I have been best friends since high school. He has a heart of gold always going above and beyond to support his friends.

He has been working in the machining and CNC business for almost forty years. Over a year ago, he'd just started a new job but was stricken with severe leg pains. He ended up in the hospital for nearly two months where they tried to improve blood flow, without success. He eventually lost his leg after over six months of treatment. He couldn't work, wasn't able to get any unemployment, and didn't yet qualify for company benefits. To this point, Dave has been relying on help from family and friends. They paid off his car, covered rent, and helped with other bills hoping to keep him afloat, all while he waited to get social security disability benefits. So far, no help there.

The apartment complex where he stays has been super supportive in every way possible to keep him in his home - but time is now running out. Dave needs help to pay back rent or will be evicted within the next month. He is working hard to find another place, and any other way to earn an income. He's hoping for just a little bit more support to get him through to the next step. Any amount will help!
