On Sunday, April 29th, We lost our beloved Dave. He was involved in an off road accident while helping with repairs on a friends property. The pain and shock is devastating.
Dave was a master electrician for over 35 years with the IBEW Local 477. He was everyone’s favorite handyman who could fix nearly everything. Within his community of Beaumont and Banning, he touched the lives of many youth by coaching and mentoring them as if they were his own. He liked life best lived on the edge, enjoyed the afternoon nap and never refused a good steak or chocolate anything. He was rock n’roll and a good talk . It was in his nature to bring a smile to every face he met. His complete pride and joy in life was seeing his children and grandchildren grow and thrive with happiness. His hopes and dreams were to fully retire, drive across the country and fly his planes in memory of his father. He was wise and compassionate in his acceptance of all, no matter their background or walk in life. He believed that if something wasn’t worth worrying about the next day or a month from now, it was not worth the worry. Dave had fun in the everyday, the hard work and found the good in the not so good situations. He will forever be remembered for his contagious laugh, his humble ways and his love for his family and friends.
In addition to his 2 adult children, Dave leaves behind an 11 year old daughter, Brooke, that he was the sole provider of. We all lost a part of our heart that terrible day. Those of us who love Dave want to help ensure that Brooke is able to have everything she needs in the future without her Dad. If you find it in your heart to help provide for Brooke’s education as she grows up, any contribution is greatly appreciated.
God Bless you
