Dave has passed away on 8/14/17 funeral details will be posted soon. Our dear Dave Hickey from the Fireside has been in the hospital since late February. He is in intensive care on life support battling pneumonia and heart complications. He has been working for J.J. Foley's since the eighties (before some of you were born!) He has been been the life force of the Fireside Tavern in Forest Hills for over fifteen years; playing chess with you, telling stories, pouring drinks and beers with personality and charm. He knows every single one of you, and probably the date you first walked into the bar!
Right now, he needs your help. His wife Carol and daughter Jen would so appreciate any help you can give to go towards groceries and bills. No amount is too small. If you prefer, pop your head in at the Fireside; there is a collection set up there as well.
We want to see him back on his feet soon! Send him a message of love and support. You know he hears everything!
