Dave Butler

In November last year, Dave was suddenly taken away from us at the age of 42. He leaves behind his wife Donna, son Teddy, his family and many work colleagues and friends.

The idea is to raise money for a memorial bench in New Brighton, which will provide a place where Teddy can feel close to his Daddy and for anyone else who loved Dave to remember him by.

Dave loved his family immensely, he also loved being by the river. Dave was a true Southerner but he was at his happiest settled here with Donna and Teddy. He met Donna through Stena Line, their first date was in New Brighton and when his parents visited he always chose to take them here for a walk or a coffee or a beer!

Along with Donna and her dear friend Clare, the 3 of us are abseiling 100ft down Anfield Main Stand on March 9th. Not one for heights, this will be a huge challenge but an opportunity for Daves family to all come together, cheer us on, celebrate what a wonderful man he was and hopefully raise our target to fund the memorial bench.
