> In September 2018 Dave Brunner was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer, his first surgery was September 21, 2018 to remove the tumor. Dave and Tammy (his wife) were informed the type of cancer he has is aggressive and reoccurring and he would need chemo every other week to keep the cancer at bay. On October 10, 2018 he had his first chemotherapy treatment and since has tried several different chemo options and radiation. Dave has been in the hospital several times over the past five years from the effects of chemo and complications from the cancer spreading.

> Dave is a loving husband, father, Papa to eight grandchildren, brother, uncle and friend to many. He loves playing with his grand kids, spending time with family, hunting, fishing and being a Tennessee Squire. He and his wife Tammy have been burdened by the costs associated with the treatments and surgeries, hospital stays and trips to the doctor over the past five years.

> I, Tamie Quigley, the sister of Dave Brunner and organizer of this GoFundMe, am raising funds that will go directly to Dave in their entirety to allow him to stay home, rest and gather his strength back to continue his fight against cancer. The funds will help them out with the financial burden of this horrible disease. I am asking for your generous support. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and will make a difference for Dave and Tammy. Dave is so special to so many people. Please join us in praying for Dave's healing and recovery. He is a fighter and a survivor and we know he will overcome this challenge with God's help. He has touched so many lives with his kindness and generosity, he is always willing to lend a helping hand when he is able. His co-workers are holding a benefit on January 13, 2024 in St. Joseph, MO and I wanted to provide an online option if people felt led to donate but aren't able to attend the benefit.
