Dave and Ruth Drexler Need Your Support

Hello, I am a friend of Dave and Ruth Drexler. They are both suffering amidst an individual medical crisis that has struck them each simultaneously. Dave, recovering slowly from a stroke in late 2021, which put him out of work, recently had an opportunity to start working again. However, just about a week ago, he suffered another major medical setback requiring surgery. He is incapacitated. During that same week, Ruth began experiencing acute symptoms of a severe critical organ condition that has rendered her hospitalized with physical and cognitive impairment. To make matters worse, she lost her job just before becoming impacted, and her medical benefits were interrupted. At this point, both Dave and Ruth have no insurance and limited income. Dave is working on restoring insurance which looks promising, but there will be a coverage gap as they incur most of the medical expenses. Perfect storm.

So, if you are willing, please help out. As these are challenging times for all of us, donations do not need to be large - $5, 10, or $20 - or any amount you are comfortable with. It would help these two get past this current crisis and set them up for recovery. As such, and as a matter of transparency, all funds go directly to Dave and Ruth.

My role is to set up this page for Dave using his email and bank account info. As background, Dave and I were close friends growing up in McKees Rocks. He significantly impacted my life, and I owe some of my success to his mentoring and friendship. The least I can do is spare some extra time and money to give back. I hope you can too.
