I said I would never do this, but I guess pride goeth before the fall. I’m not one to share my problems in a public forum but this has been a miserably hard year. On September 13, 2024, my husband Dave had an operation that went really sideways and led to multiple surgeries and a many horrible days in the ICU in February, where I was really scared I was going to lose him. Consequently, he lost his job and insurance ( I did too since I was on his insurance) After all of this, he was left unable to work because he still needs another surgery to fully in order to fully recover and without insurance, Blessing totally abandoned him.

So, I tried to keep everything going myself and I was able to do so for a while. A couple months ago we were finally able to get insurance through the state and received a SNAP card and we began to visit local food pantries to help supplement. So we are not starving but without him working I can only manage things so long. Things are really starting to fall apart here. The mortgage is 3 months behind ( They have been working with me) My car insurance is about to be cancelled. Every bill is late and things are looking bleak. I was paid last Friday and after I paid everything I had too, I don’t even have enough money for gas next week and now our SNAP card is froze until the government reopens. We really need so help to get us through this. Thank you, so much!
