Dave and his family

Hi, my name is Kristina and I'm raising money for my brother Dave and his family. On January 4th, Dave came home from work like any other day and walked into the kitchen when his family heard a loud crash. He was found unresponsive on the floor. When paramedics arrived he was revived after several attempts and taken to St. Joseph's.

When they couldn't provide the necessary care he was transferred to Froedtert where open heart surgery was scheduled for the morning of January 5th. Unfortunately, his body was not stable enough for surgery so it was postponed until today January 6th. We are unsure at this moment if he will be able to move forward with the surgery.

I am reaching out for donations because my brother is the sole breadwinner for their family (wife and 3 minor children) and regardless of the outcome he will not be able to work for quite some time. They also currently do not have health or life insurance.

There is so much unknown right now so I have no idea what the appropriate ask is or what their need will actually be so don't mind the goal number as it is arbitrary at this point and the family will be overjoyed and grateful for any gift at all.
