Dave Risso always helps out, now we can help him!

Hi my name is Heather. I am a long time friend of Dave's. We all know Dave as the loud and outgoing, rude joke telling, crazy guy, all the while being the compassionate, supportive, and the one you can count on good friend. On November 22, 2020, his birthday, Dave was diagnosed with throat and tonsil cancer. It was a long and tedious process to get to that diagnosis but that was just the beginning. He is now going through the journey of Chemo and radiation. I will spare you the details of the process. I'm sure you all know someone who has told you the physical and mental pain associated with that. Although the doctors believe the outlook is pretty good on beating this, he needs the treatment and medication to make it happen. Dave does have health insurance however, what they cover, I would say is minimal. I couldn't believe the cost of just a single treatment session. Not only is it financially costly, it is also time consuming. Doctors don't work around your schedule, you work around theirs (which is appropriate since they are trying to make a better quality of life for you). With that being said, Dave had no other choice than to use all his sick/vacation time at work. The financial strain Dave is under is something no one should experience, especially since Dave is a workaholic. I know we all could use a little extra money but I asking if you could spare anything to donate to Dave during this very difficult time. It would be more than greatly appreciated. I'm not sure that Dave is going to be very happy about this. He likes being the one giving than receiving but he needs our help. Thank you in advance for anything you can help with.
