Dave afford life prolonging treatment

Update - Dave sadly passed away on 21st July after being admitted to Barnet and then Royal Free Hospital with a blood clot.My name is Kev and I'm fundraising for my brother Dave. Dave became unwell in the late part of 2020. In February 2021 he was diagnosed as having Mesothelioma, which is a rare cancer caused by exposure to asbestos and was told this would be a terminal condition in which prognosis wasn't good. He immediately underwent surgery to have the affected parts of his lungs and surrounding tissues removed. After a period of recovery and 6 rounds of chemotherapy the Meso appeared to have been kept at bay for a while. However in September 2022 scans showed a build up of fluid in his stomach. Further investigation showed the cancer had spread. Doctors immediately started immunotherapy and Dave had a permanent fluid drain put in. January 2023 further scans showed that the cancer was not responding to the immunotherapy alone. So now Daves only option to prolong life is a treatment not funded by the NHS which will cost him £4852 for every treatment, which are 6 weekly. Dave is looking forward to marrying his beautiful fiance Teresa at the end of April and his sole wish is to be able to spend as much time with her as possible. As well as with his close family, nieces and nephew, God children and his tight circle of friends. Dave is still working and is not one to take charity. I am asking on his behalf to try and cover the costs of his treatment as far as possible so that his hard earned money and savings are not swallowed up by this treatment. Allowing him to enjoy the time he has. I'm not normally an emotional guy but please help to keep my brother with us as long as possible.
