Daughter's Wedding Dress

Our baby girl, from the age of 4 knew she wanted to be a teacher. We'd come into her room and she would have all her stuffed animals lined up and she would be teaching class to them. Over the years, she joined band and worked her way up to being a horn player. Like her brother, she also was part of winning two Texas state marching championships. She went on to University where her Freshman year, was horn section leader, earned awards from the University and school of music, was an officer in her Sorority and went on to became a drum major for the University marching band. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the school with a 3.94. In December, she became engaged to a really great guy who treats her well and has an awesome family. After being a graduate for only one month, she has already accepted a full time teaching job, where the faculty and staff really desire her to be. No one could be more proud of this young lady and she exceeded all of our expectations. Back in November 2019 I became laid off from a great job and have only been able to find part time work for over a year and a half. Traditionally, the father pays for a good part of the wedding, but sadly, because of lack of income, I will not be able to do so. I would like to at the very least pay for a nice wedding dress for her and am asking for a little help to do so. This is the reason for my GoFundMe, is to help us at least give her a beautiful dress she will be proud to wear (and probably make her father cry when I walk her down the isle).
