Hi, my name is Nadine.

I am here in hopes to raise money for Mika‘s braces as she has an unusual large overbite, and extremely crooked teeth. This is causing her to breathe with her mouth open at night, which results with loud snoring, and teeth grinding. The orthodontist recommends braces as it will resolve the snoring as her jaw will be realigned, and might also reduce teeth grinding. The trip to the orthodontist was my daughter’s request, because she’s been dealing with daily bullying. Not only by her peers, but even by some adults which causes her a lot of anxiety and emotional distress. Her self-confidence and self-esteem has diminished tremendously in the last two years, and she refuses to smile in public. This will not only fix her smile and give her better oral health, but also bring her peace-of-mind. Just before Christmas my employers lost their contract, and I was one of the staff members who was unfortunately let go. I’ve been having difficulty finding employment that can accommodate my physical disability since. This resulted in a financial drought, and has cause me to be unable to cover the entire amount for Mika’s much needed braces. The pictures provided are of my daughter’s oral and cost assessments that I am required to pay. Mika’s appointment to have the braces installed is on August 28, 2025 with a first down payment of $600. Afterwards there will be 3 other monthly down payments of $600, fallowed by 23 monthly payments of $229, and the final payment of $228. The donations will cover the cost of each required payment. If you can donate, any amount will help, even if all you can afford is $2, I’d be so grateful, and even more so Mika.
