Hello

My name is Kylie !

My story is about my youngest daughter Laurah-rose whom has end stage renal failure.

Laurah was diagnosed when she was 4 weeks old with polycystic kidney disease and hypertension

Throughout the years she has been in and out of hospitals numerous of times with life threatening infections.

Laurah started peritoneal dialysis 4 years ago at the age of 16 and recently has now transfered to hemodialysis due to her contracting the life threatening infections which almost seen her lose her life.

Now she is on hemodialysis she needs to travel to hospital 3 times a week which is over an hour away for her treatment .

We are also needing to travel to another major hosptial which is also over 2 hours away on top of that regularly for Appointments and tests to prepare her for a transplant and to prepare me to hopefully become her donor.

I am reaching out and have made this go fund me page to hopefully receive funds and assistance gratefully to be able to purchase a second hand car to drive to the hospitals for laurahs dialysis and the tests we both need to have . Remaining monies will go towards any medical bills accumulated throughout and ongoing laurahs treatments

Laurah has been on dialysis longer then expected now so a kidney is the most important life saving organ she needs , without it her beautiful young life will end

I have watched laurah go through the worst of the worst , I have held my girl in my arms whilst she cries and tells me she just wants to die. I have watched my girl suffer mentally ,physically ,emotionally .

I am a worried caring mum who is reaching out to the community

,I have tried radio stations , community pages, councils , the list goes on , and doing my very best to help her

Unfortunately public transport and community transport is not viable ., due to the timing and the changes constantly with appointments and dialysis and where we live the public transport is not very accessible late at night . A taxi costs.over $300 each way

I am not in a financial position to purchase my own car unfortunately as I am only receiving a carers payment and paying high rent weekly sees me with little amount left .
