2020 has been my cousin's worse nightmare. First she lost her mom in early 2020. Then she lost her father from Covid 19. While trying to be there for her family, her employment fired her from her job. When things couldn't get any worse, Her daughter Alyssa contracted Covid 19 on thanksgiving and is now battling the virus at the hospital. Norma did everything she could to protect herself and her 2 children but it took just one visit on Thanksgiving. Norma has 2 children that she's raising on her own and now with her daughter in the hospital and unemployed due to all the tragedy that's happened to her and her family in just 9 months, she's on the brink of losing it all. Our first priority is to make sure she has a roof over her head, food and everything she needs while she attends to her daughter who is in the hospital right now with Covid 19. Alyssa has Down Syndrome so that makes it all the scarier. I pray that God finds a way to help my cousin who has suffered so much this year. I want her to know that we are here for her.
