Daughter is in ICU, family needs help financially
Donation protected
Our daughter, Annica, is a spunky and inquisitive four year old with a bold personality and an unrivaled love for animals. On December 8th, 2020 she was attacked by three dogs on our family's property. She was airlifted to Prisma Hospital in Greenville SC where she underwent emergency surgery and then confined to the pediatric ICU. She lost her entire scalp down to the bone and both ears, along with being covered in numerous superficial bites, cuts, and scratches. According to the pediatric trauma surgeons, this was just her first trip to the operating room of many. Since then, our tiny miracle child has had four more surgeries and is scheduled for two more next week, including one on Christmas morning. Our sweet Annica is looking at atleast six months worth of reconstructive surgeries and a lifetime's worth of lasting effects from this traumatic experience. My husband and I have been by her side every step of the way but this whole ordeal is taking a huge toll on us financially. We are almost two hours away from home and my husband has taken several weeks off work to be here with us. We have two more children currently staying with my mother and with Christmas coming up and our household bills piling up at home, we are struggling like we have never struggled before. So this is our way of reaching out to friends, family, and even strangers to ask for help during our greatest time of need. This entire experience has brought us to our knees and completely humbled us. So please, if you can help in ANY way, whether it be a monetary donation, encouraging words, love, or prayers, it is beyond appreciated. Thank you so so much and God bless you.
