Dear family and friends,
After many months of undiagnosed chest and back pain that lead to an ER visit, multiple scans, biopsies and tests, my mom has recently been diagnosed with non-small cell carcinoma that favors a primary breast cancer.  This had spread to form a secondary cancer that has created a large mass on the T5 vertebrae coupled with multiple lesions throughout my moms sternum, ribs and vertebrae leaving the bones weak and porous. She has started radiation on the mass in her back and will continue to use radiation to treat the lesions and she will soon be starting a chemotherapy pill that will aim to target the primary cancer.
Due to the excessive pain, treatment and ongoing testing my mom has been unable to work, and as many of you know we had just bought a house for our family only weeks before this diagnosis and her return to work is unknown at this time due to longevity of her treatment. At this unfortunate time, my sisters and I are in need of assistance to bridge the gap until our mom is back on her feet.
