We are part of a community that was moved tremendously by the passion and persistence of a woman that imbued the word 'strength' with a new meaning. This community has now suffered the loss of this incomparable woman, and I would now ask those members to help the family we have come to adore in their time of grief.

Data_Nerd was a fierce yet friendly presence in all the lives that had the joy of having her in them. She was a confidante, a cheerleader, a critic, a mother, a wife and soulmate, a friend, a role model, an inspiration, a listener, an advice-giver, a crafter, a student, a data scientist, and so, SO much more.

Her husband believes that "without death, we cannot truly live, but try as you might, it is never something that you can prepare for. And any attempt to do so is simply a fool’s errand. It has been said that there are people in this world for whom the memory fades quickly, and the day that their name is said for the last time comes rapidly. But that won’t be her.

Data_Nerd was truly a paragon of betterment, and we are all now lesser for having lost her." Her passing will be felt keenly throughout all the relationships she had cultivated. We truly will miss the pillar of our community and would ask that you extend any generosity that you can, to help alleviate the financial burden that comes with sudden and heartbreaking loss.
