Our dear friend and amazing photographer, Tori "Torsion" Howard needs our help!
Tori's external hard drives where he stores all of his photos have been damaged and the data recovery quote is a whopping $2,500. If he doesn't pay it he loses years of photos that documented Covid-19, The Women's March Chicago, the George Floyd and Breonna Taylor protests, his street photography and portraits.
Tori was asked to participate in a Black Lives Matter Movement digital photography exhibit called, "FTP: A Fight to Peace; The Freedom Fighter's Reflection". He would need to submit photos by November 30, 2020 so we are trying to help him collect these funds as soon as possible so he doesn't miss out on this amazing opportunity.
He is also in the middle of curating a collection of his photos to publish in a book in Spring 2021.
Tori takes photos with the intention on documenting history, creating memories and illuminating the human condition. Let's help him out!
Any donation amount helps but donation amounts of $50 and higher will receive a signed and numbered limited edition photography print. See the details below.
$50 donation = one 8.5"x11" photography print
$100 donation = one 11"x14" photography print
$200 donation = one 24"x36" photography print from Tori's private collection
