Hi everyone,

My name is Dasia, and I’m a trans woman living in Berlin, Germany. I started my medical transition almost four years ago—a literally life-saving decision—and after lots of consideration and research, I’ve decided to pursue facial feminization surgery (FFS) to better align my appearance with how I see myself, to alleviate some of my gender dysphoria, and to help others perceive me as the iconic women I am.

I've wanted FFS for a long time, and the idea of having these procedures done makes me salivate in anticipation because I feel so ready to actualize this version of myself. Being trans and becoming a woman has saved my life, and having these feminizing procedures done in order to feel more like myself is going to help me continue to live a happy and meaningful life.

After numerous consultations over the last months, I have settled on the procedures I’d like to have done:

1. Frontoplasty (forehead & brow bone shaving) - Shaving and reshaping of the forehead and brow ridge to create a smoother & more rounded appearance, which would be the most significant element to feminizing my appearance.

2. Facial Fat Transfer - Injection of my own fat into the face, specifically the cheekbone, under eyes, smile lines, lips, and temple to create a more heart-shaped silhouette of my face, which is typically perceived as more feminine.

3.Surgical Lip Lift - Raising the top of my mouth to reduce the distance between the tip of my nose and my top lip, which will help to feminize the lower half of my face.

4. Hair Transplant (performed post-op, a few months later) - A one day procedure of harvesting and transplanting hair follicles around my hairline to create a rounder face-framing appearance. The follicles are to be harvested from the back of my head and carefully considered to minimize creating a noticeable bald spot.

I’ve selected the surgeon I’d like to move forward with, and the quote I've received for performing all four procedures is 16,695€, excluding travel and accommodation. In order to book the surgery, I need 50% of the funds, with the following 50% transferred to the clinic no less than one week before the surgery date. This is why I now turn to asking my community for support to help raise the funds for this process.
