Help a Friend Get Back on His Feet Again
Dear Friends,
We have created this GoFundMe page to help out a wonderful couple who are struggling against Florida’s insurance bureaucracy.
The Story
Jeanine and Wes moved to Florida with high hopes for a better life, but have had to face many challenges over the past year. Wes’ increasingly bad knees have made it impossible for him to get around on his own or to continue to work. He has many needs including physical therapy, yet he has been unable to receive Medicaid without being on Disability. They have applied for Disability but it is taking a ridiculously long time and he is in immediate need of equipment to help in his daily life, such as an adjustable bed & mattress, motorized wheelchair, ramp and a lift recliner in order to manage his condition and mobility. That’s why we need your help…
Our Goal
We all know how much Jeanine and Wes have done to help their friends over the years. Jeanine has designed brochures, business cards and logos, while Wes has helped with handyman jobs and driven friends to the airport. Now is our chance to return those favors and help them in return.
The Cost
We are hoping that we can help purchase the items Wes needs, but they are not cheap. The total cost could amount to as much as $12,000 – so we have made that our goal. Please consider donating to our fund. Any amount will be appreciated and move us closer to getting Wes and Jeanine the help they need.
