My sweet niece, ten-year-old Guiovanella, was stricken by a very aggressive brain tumor while visiting in Miami, from her native country. Skilled surgeons removed what they could but referred her to St. Jude Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, hoping against hope that they might save her, but unfortunately, she didn't make it.  She was all girl, careful about her appearance and vigilant to take care of her mother about whom she worried so much.  She lost her earthly fight to gain a greater glory, and we miss her dearly.  Zailin her mother has her own story, but the most moving story is the devotion she showed to her little girl during the months and months of treatment, living in a strange place at the mercy of strangers.  During this ordeal, she heard and obeyed the Gospel of Jesus Christ and became our sister in Christ.  The hospital has been wonderfully generous in many ways.  Ronald Mcdonald House took them in and provided comfortable quarters and a supportive environment for the mothers who quickly reached out to her with affection and kindness.  Now Zailin needs to purchase a place to deposit her baby's ashes near her family.  She has nothing except her clothes and the love of her family and friends. Her final expenses are beyond the reach of her relatives, so we are setting up a GoFundMe account in the hopes of raising enough money to cover expenses and to buy a small spot to store the earthly remains of her child.   May God bless all of you who extend your generosity to this family.
