Madison to Schlern Music Festival

Dear Interested folks,
My name is Madison Weiss. I am 14 years old, and I am in 8th grade. I have been taking piano lessons since I was 4 years old; it's a really fun instrument to play. If it wasn't, I wouldn't spend so many hours a week practicing! When I'm away from my Yamaha, I miss playing it. I am so thankful for my mom and my teacher, Irina Gorin, for putting so much time and effort into helping me grow my talent.
Several of my teacher's students and I have been invited to attend the Schlern International Music Festival in northern Italy. This 3-week festival will literally immerse me in music. The camp will offer some of the world's best and most famous piano and music teachers to myself and my peers. We students will have the opportunity to have master classes and private lessons from these fine teachers. We will get to attend concerts, recitals, and be part of them ourselves. I am currently readying music for these events.
The $5,000 needed will be split between $500 for my chaperone, $3,000 for the festival fee, and $1,500 for the plane ticket.
I look forward to seeing the world around me instead of just America. It also thrills me to know that I will be in the place I have read about in history books for years in school. I also think taking lessons from the Schlern teachers will help enhance my playing ability. It will also be great just to meet and interact with them!
If I am able to go I will be so thankful for all the people who gave money towards my trip. I will also be thankful to the festival for their time and effort in making this opportunity for youth around the world. I am trying my best to be deserving of any financial support you may give.
