DASH FORE NASH

Donation protected
On Sunday June 9th, 53 friends and family gathered at Pakenham Highlands Golf Club to help raise much needed funds for the Cote/Poirier Family, as they navigate their way through cancer treatment for their son Nash Cote. Earlier this Spring, 8-year old Nash was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare cancer that will lead to months of hospital stays. Some treatments have been started here in Ottawa, but the family will have to travel internationally for more specialized treatments for Nash later this Summer, incurring countless other costs along the way.

Our goal was to help alleviate the financial pressure of these additional expenses so that their family can remain focused on Nash and his recovery.

Alongside the 18-hole golf tournament, Steve Cooper attempted to play 100 holes of golf, walking the entire way. To be honest, there was some skipping, jogging and running in Steve's DASH FORE NASH. He started at 5:15am and successfully drained his final putt at 8:11pm.

  • 51 KMs walked
  • 100 Holes played
  • 526 Shots taken
  • 203 Putts attempted
  • 21 Lost balls
  • 1 Birdie (88th hole)
  • 4 Pairs of shoes worn
  • 1 45-minute break for lightning

We continue to raise funds for young Nash and would appreciate any donation you are capable of.

Thank you so much for helping us show support for Nash and his family!!
