Homeless After House Fire

Hi, my name is Yasmine B. I'm starting a gofundme page for my good friend who is like a sister to me. On Monday, November 1st she escaped a raging home fire with her baby, elderly mother, and just the clothes on their backs. Suffering this devastating total loss she is in tremendous need of support to raise funds for emergency living expenses and rebuilding her entire life. As her friend I have chosen to step in and facilitate this well deserved help because she has touched so many lives and she would do the same if the roles were reversed.

 

She will be out of a home for at least the next two years trying to make ends meet. She is required to continue to pay her mortgage plus a rental home during litigation over the loss of her primary home. Help me help her remain hopeful in rebuilding again. The amount I am asking for is only an estimate to try to sustain her 2 years in Westchester County, NY during her displacement because she is a single mother and the sole provider for her family.
