My name is Daryna Hriaznova. I'm a student at Daniel Pearl Magnet High School. want to attend the National High School Journalism Convention in Seattle to learn more skills that I can use on our various high school publications. I write, take photos and draw illustrations for our newsmagazine, website and yearbook. I especially want to improve my photography skills. Our news website, The Pearl Post is a finalist for the prestigious Pacemaker Award, so that is another reason why I want to attend the convention. Thank you!
