Daryl, my tiny chihuahua, needs an emergency surgery. Last night, instead of using his sofa stairs, he jumped directly off of the sofa onto the tile floor, and he immediately started crying out. His veterinarian did an x-ray, and his little arm is completely broken. Dr. Wright said he will need a surgery to put a plate to connect his little bones. The only other option is to amputate his arm. Dr. Wright wrapped his arm, and gave him pain medicine, and we put him back into the little container we have been keeping him in the protect him. We brought him home and we are keeping him warm, and doing our best to keep him comfortable. We have sent emails with the x-ray to vets that specialize in orthopedic surgery, and we are waiting for calls back to have him seen. I am desperate to find a way to get him the surgery he needs. He is in so much pain, and he cannot find comfort, he cannot even stand to go to the bathroom. Thank you for your support or companionship, I feel powerless to help him alone, and hope with my whole heart for help.
