Hello, this is Dale Person. I am requesting Medical expenses and living expenses while Daryl Person heals.

Daryl is a traveling carpenter. He has been doing carpentry work for over 50 years. A lot of the work he does is free or with minimal payment. The majority of his customers are the elderly and lower-income individuals. He is a very giving person and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed help. Needless to say, he rarely has any extra money.

He was shingling a very steep roof for a relative. This was a free job. The nails holding the brace for the roof steps pulled out of the 100-year-old rotting 2 x 4's. He fell 20 feet to the ground and landed face-first on a concrete sidewalk. He was knocked out and came to after a few minutes. He was taken to the emergency room. He has a shattered knee, fractured ankle, sprained wrist and many lacerations on his face, arms and legs.

He will be out of work for at least 6 months.

He had many jobs planned to do for people this summer which now he will not be able to do. The summer months are when he earns the majority of his yearly income.

He would not ask for help for himself as he is the one usually providing the help.
