My name is Erica and I am creating this fundraiser for my dear friend Trish, who unexpectedly lost her beloved husband Daryl on February 8th.

Trish and Daryl were a tremendous support to me when I lost my husband over 10 years ago, and I am heartbroken that Trish now has to go through this pain. Trish and Daryl are the first people to lend a helping hand, to check in on their loved ones who are struggling and to be there with support and love. In fact, after only a couple fitful hours of sleep this morning, Trish texted me to check on my youngest child who had a panic attack not long after Daryl took his last breaths. That’s who Trish is - the most caring human and I am so honoured to be her friend.

We are asking if you can, to donate to this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of the funeral and expenses associated with it, with any extra going to Trish so she will not have to worry about the next couple more this while she navigates her “new normal”.
