To know him was to love him.

On October 24, our friend Daryl was eating dinner with his loving mother, Rose, when he choked. His heart stopped. EMS were able to revive his heart. Unfortunately, the effects of this tragic incident have resulted with Daryl having to rely on machines to live. He is unresponsive and in a coma.

Daryl was born with a diagnosis of Cerebral Palsy but that never stopped him.

Daryl’s dream was to educate and empower all to live their best lives. He was proud to present his story and his achievements to college students in the area.

Daryl attended UCP Heartland for over 18 years. He was Michael Jackson's biggest fan and is known for bringing smiles and laughter to his family, friends, and his staff. He enjoyed teasing his loved ones, showing off his skills, and any new outfits.

Daryl’s mother, Rose, loves him more than life itself. She cared for his 24 hours a day and often without help. Because of Rose’s love, Daryl was able to excel when others told him he would not.

This sudden tragic incident has caused enormous stress to Rose. She does not have the funds to cover the costs of his medical bills and funeral arrangements.

Daryl deserves the best end of life plan possible. Please help Rose, her family, and most of all, Daryl.
