My Story

Hi, my name is Darwin Sarangaya and this is the most vulnerable thing I'm ever going to post online. I've been dealing with eczema (atopic dermatitis) for as long as I can remember. My life hasn't been normal growing up with many allergies, rashes and itchy skin. I have always turned to medical help from my GP and at this point in my life they've let me down. I've been prescribed with strong steroid creams and ointments over the years and now it has turned to the worst thing I've experienced. I'm currently struggling with Topical Steroid Withdrawals since January 2025 and has left me bed bound, isolated and debilitated.

Everyday since I've started withdrawing from the steroids, I've been mourning my old self. Some days I don't even recognise myself. I wake up in pain and soreness from my skin flaking and weeping. It has completely changed how I look and feel about myself. I've stayed strong and positive this whole time and now it's time to take the next step in my healing journey.

I've been healing naturally allowing my skin to do it's thing and go through the regeneration cycles HOWEVER I've found the light at the end of the tunnel and come across Dr Jay and his CAP Therapy clinic in Thailand. I'm currently living in the UK and have been without work for most of the year.

I've been lucky enough to have support from my family to pay for my flights to Thailand but there's so much costs I need to consider. My plan is to get treatment for 3 months...

Treatment Cost: 2,000 THB or 47 British Pounds per 30 minutes

Maximum Charge Per Visit: 8,000 THB or 189 British Pounds (120 minutes).

Estimate cost for 12 weeks : 2300 British Pounds

Accommodation: For 3 months I plan to stay in an Airbnb near the clinic.

It will cost me roughly 400 british pounds per month.

Estimate cost for 3 months : 1200 british pounds.
