Funeral Costs for Darwin Alexander Chavez

Hello friends and family,
as you know there was a tragic accident that happened to our family a few weeks ago. On Tuesday September 22nd, 2020, our cousin Darwin Alexander Chavez was hit by a car on Alondra Blvd. near the 605 in front of the In N out while he was walking. In the words of his brother, Gabriel Chavez, "He was hit with such force he broke his hips, arms, legs and hip, tore his large intestine, damaged both his kidneys to the point that they started failing, internal bleeding, brain trauma, and he died for 20 min and then he was brought back and then had seizures all within the same day he was hit. We held some hope but now have been told by all medical personnel that were involved and had tests done that we have to now say our goodbyes. If anyone has dashcam video or had witnessed the accident that day September 22, 2020 on Alondra Blvd near the 605 please DM me any info no matter now little would be helpful. We were told by one witness that his last words before he stopped talking were, 'I want to go home.' My little brother was only 32 years old, he was always kind, many of you who had met him know he had a good heart and never thought bad of anyone and I will be able to see my brother grow old. Our family has been destroyed by this tragedy. Please anyone with any info contact me."
Unfortunately Darwin did not make it. I have created a go fund me account to support the family with the funeral/legal costs. I heard that they have covered the majority of it with the help from my aunts and uncles, but the case is still open, no arrests have been made, and they will need help with the legal fees. They have exhausted all resources and there is still so much to do with this case. The person responsible for this horrific accident is still out there and we can try to help with as much as we can.
Any little bit will help. There are many of us cousins, and if all of us contribute at least something, we can make a difference. ♥️
