The word cancer is never a word you want to hear from a doctor. For Darrin Denha, it wasn’t just “Cancer”. It was stage 4 pancreatic cancer. On August 3, 2023, those were the words that changed Darrin Denha. A 38-year-old man with so much to live for, was handed the biggest battle of his life.
On December 6, 2023 – a bright and sunny Michigan day – Darrin lost that battle. The lord called on Darrin and saved him from his pain and suffering.
For anyone who knew Darrin, you knew he lit up a room as soon as he walked in. He made it a point to shake everyone’s hand and learn everyone’s name. Once he met you, he didn’t forget you. And most importantly, you didn’t forget him. Darrin always left an impression on those who were blessed to know him. If anyone was in need, Darrin would do anything in his power to help. If you needed money, he would empty his pockets. Clothing, he would take the shirt off his back. Food, he would starve to make sure no one around him was hungry. Darrin was the definition of a giving person.
Darrin fought as hard as he could for his family and friends. An army of prayers and an endless amount of love and support from the community flooded in and we are asking to keep those prayers and support going for his wife Lorraine and four young children, Lilliana (9), Ava (9), Jude (7) and Saige (6).
As Darrin basks in Heaven and watches over his family and loved ones, his wife Lorraine is left behind to pick up all the pieces. We know money won’t fill the empty side of Lorraine’s bed or help her children understand why Daddy had to go to heaven.
We can’t thank you enough for your prayers and any support you can provide to the Denha Family. May God Bless you always.
For your own family and loved ones, if you haven’t had a check-up lately, please make an appointment to see your doctor. Early detection saves lives!
