Darrick Akey Brain Surgery Recovery Fund

Within one weeks time, our healthy, active and very dear friend Darrick Akey went from feeling absolutely perfect to waking up with a loss of mobility of his left side, the same day being diagnosed with a brain tumor, admitted to the ICU and then a few days later undergoing major cranial surgery.  The operation was successful in removing 95% of the cancerous tumor they call a Glioblastoma.  Despite the shock of this life changing news, in true Darrick form he has his wit, his sense of humor and remains completely optimistic about his recovery and the future.  The road to recovery will likely take some time and increase financial burden.
